22 years in federal law enforcement, 19 of which were as a firearms instructor, colleteral duty. For each sniper team, and virtually every other officer present, regardless of agency, it is a simple matter to identify the exact rounds that were loaded in the the rifles, and even their handguns. The Brand, the grains of the bullets and most importantly the lot number from the ammo manufacturer is printed on the box. With that lot number you can trace right to the day and hour that cartridge was manufactured. Exactly what powder was used, where it was made, and exactly where the bullet was made. This is day one data which should have been captured by investigators right away. Even microscopic powder residue left by tge bullet on the shooter’s tissues, can be analyzed to determine which round terminated him. Fingerprint and DNA evidence is located on each if the “shooter’s ” spent casings. The shooter’s rifle had obvioysly been moved, several panels over, which means the first people on that roof tampered with the crime scene. How much other evidence was moved, touched or otherwise tampered with? The more that we learn, the more questions keep appearing. Made worse by the Feebs lack of transparency. Its either gross incompetence or something else.
